According to the latest NWS Jacksonville update, some of these thunderstorms may produce wind gusts of 35-45 mph, localized heavy rain and flooding, and frequent lightning.
The most favored locations for strong thunderstorms are along the Georgia/Florida border, the I-10 corridor, and the First Coast.

Locally heavy downpours (localized flooding risk, especially along the I-10 corridor and First Coast)
The overall risk of flash flooding is low to moderate in the strongest storms. A High Risk of Rip Currents is also in effect for all area beaches today.
Temperatures today will reach the upper 80s to lower 90s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Heat and humidity are expected to build next week, with Heat Advisories possible beginning Tuesday.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90. Light east wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
