
CLERMONT, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Primitivo Batista, 61, of Clermont, claimed the $21.5 million FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot from the February 4, 2026, drawing at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office on February 9.
The Lake County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $11,750,158.50.
Batista purchased his winning ticket from BJ’s Wholesale Club, located at 2577 S. U.S. Highway 27 in Clermont.
The odds of winning the Florida Lotto jackpot are 1 in 22,957,480. The game’s overall odds are 1 in 7.61.
25% of all Florida Lottery proceeds goes to K-12 education and Bright Futures scholarships, according to the Florida Lottery.
67% goes to prize payouts. The remaining 8% goes to retailers, vending, and administration.
