, Florida – The National Service in is forecasting scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across portions of on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

According to the latest South Florida Rain Chances map, probability of precipitation is highest across southwest Florida: 71% Immokalee, 65% Everglades City, 60% Naples, 46% Clewiston, 45% Palmdale, 30% Flamingo, 23% Homestead, and 12% in Miami, , and West Palm Beach.

Dangerously high heat indices are forecast this afternoon across much of South Florida. Values will peak as high as 105°F in Naples, 103°F in Immokalee and Everglades City, 102°F in La Belle, 101°F in Buckhead Ridge, 100°F in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami, 99°F in Homestead and Belle Glade, and 98°F in Flamingo.
