, Florida – The National Weather Service Tallahassee reports that the Flood Watch for the Florida , southeast Alabama, and southwest Georgia has expired early this morning. However, the persistent “rain train” pattern continues today and through the weekend, bringing daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms with a high risk of localized flash flooding.

Residents should remain vigilant as saturated soils from recent heavy rains combined with expected new storms today and in the coming days will keep the threat of isolated flash flooding elevated.

The ongoing wet pattern will bring scattered to numerous showers and storms each day through early next week.

Conditions Amid the Rain

Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-80s to low 90s Fahrenheit due to persistent cloud cover and rainfall.
