, Florida – The National Weather Service Tallahassee reports that the Flood Watch for the Florida , southeast Alabama, and southwest Georgia has expired early this morning.

Tallahassee Today’s Forecast showing highs in the mid to upper 80s and probability of precipitation across the region.

However, the persistent “rain train” pattern continues today and through early next week, bringing daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms with a high risk of localized flash flooding.

Residents should remain vigilant as saturated soils from recent heavy rains combined with expected new storms today and in the coming days will keep the threat of isolated flash flooding elevated.
