BOCA RATON, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Walkens Talabert, 56, of Boca Raton, claimed a $2 million top prize from the DOUBLE DIAMOND CASHWORD Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee on January 5.

The Palm Beach County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,189,600.00.

Talabert purchased his winning ticket from a Publix supermarket located at 19595 S. State Road 7 in Boca Raton.

For $10, DOUBLE DIAMOND CASHWORD offers a top prize of $2,000,000, more than $170.5 million in total cash prizes, and over 7.2 million winning tickets.

The game’s overall odds are 1:3.24.
