LAKELAND, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that a lucky player in Lakeland matched all six numbers in the Jackpot Triple Play drawing on Friday, January 16, 2026, securing a $2,000,000 jackpot.
The winning numbers were 2, 5, 12, 21, 22, and 25.
Benjamin Hall, of Winter Haven, claimed the $2 million jackpot at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee on January 20.
The Polk County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,212,677.60.
Hall purchased his winning ticket from Vaishali, located at 4646 N. Combee Road in Lakeland.
For just $1, Jackpot Triple Play offers players three chances to win the jackpot with three sets of numbers per ticket. Players select six numbers from 1 to 46 for the first set, while the second and third sets are randomly Quick Picked. Jackpots start at $250,000 and can grow up to $2 million before rolling down to boost lower-tier prizes if unclaimed.
Players win by matching three or more numbers from any single set to the drawn numbers. For an additional $1, the Combo option allows players to combine matches across all sets for extra prizes, ranging from free tickets to $10,000 for matching 10 or more numbers.
The Florida Lottery encourages players to check their tickets and claim prizes promptly. Visit the Florida Lottery website for more information.
