THONOTOSASSA, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Wendell Jackson, 53, of Thonotosassa, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee on December 19.
The Hillsborough County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.
Jackson purchased his winning ticket from 301 Petrol Mart, located at 11511 U.S. Highway 301 N. in Thonotosassa.
The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
