LABELLE, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Antonio Garcia Avila, 60, of LaBelle, claimed a $1 million prize from the BONUS LETTER CROSSWORD Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Fort Myers District Office on December 29.
The Hendry County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.
Garcia Avila purchased his winning ticket from Patson Discount Tobacco and Smoke Shop, located at 216 S. Main Street in LaBelle.
The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
