
MANATEE COUNTY, Florida – Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has ordered that flags be flown at half-staff on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in honor of the passing of Manatee County Commissioner Carol Ann Felts.
“To honor the passing of Commissioner Carol Ann Felts, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, and all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout Manatee County from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, April 18, 2026,” DeSantis stated in a Memorandum.
