FORT MYERS, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Jan Jones, 67, of Fort Myers, claimed a $1 million prize from the $25,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Fort Myers District Office on October 28.

The Lee County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $638,100.00.

Jones purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 11600 Gladiolus Drive in Fort Myers.

The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $50 Scratch-Off game, $25,000,000 GOLD RUSH MULTIPLIER, features two top prizes of $25 million and sixty prizes of $1 million. This game also features more than $1.2 billion in total cash prizes.

The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.09.
