
NEW YORK, New York – A Cash4Life ticket sold in New York won the top prize in the Tuesday, December 23, 2025, drawing, according to the Florida Lottery. The ticket matched all five numbers—05, 06, 09, 21, 45—and the Cash Ball, 03, winning $1,000 a day for life. The winning ticket was sold at Heta Deli Convenience Inc, 213-22 48th Ave, Oakland Gardens in Queens.
The drawing had no winners for the second-tier prize of $1,000 a week for life.
The fortunate winner now faces a life-altering decision: accept the daily payments, which amount to $365,000 annually for life (guaranteed for a minimum of 20 years), or choose a one-time lump-sum payment of $7 million.
In the December 23 drawing, there were 16,368 total winners. Prize levels included: 1 winner in New York of $1,000 a day for life; 0 winners of $1,000 a week for life; 4 winners of $2,500 (4-of-5 + Cash Ball); 7 winners of $500 (4-of-5); 132 winners of $100 (3-of-5 + Cash Ball); 326 winners of $25 (3-of-5); 1,846 winners of $10 (2-of-5 + Cash Ball); 4,716 winners of $4 (2-of-5); and 9,337 winners of a free ticket (1-of-5 + Cash Ball).
Cash4Life is played in 10 states: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia. Drawings occur daily at 9:00 p.m. ET, with tickets costing $2.
The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 21,846,048, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.
The winner has 180 days to claim the prize and can choose between daily payments or the lump sum. New York law allows lottery winners to remain anonymous.
