National Weather Service Melbourne High Temperatures and Rain Chances for Central Florida October 3, 2025
ORLANDO, Florida – The National Weather Service Melbourne has issued a forecast for Central Florida on Friday, October 3, 2025, of scattered to numerous showers and storms from late morning through the afternoon and early evening, with a 50-70% chance of precipitation. Winds east northeast 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph are expected, locally higher along the coast.
Thunderstorms are capable of occasional lightning, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall which could lead to minor flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect for coastal counties through early Sunday morning.
Rain chances will remain elevated through the weekend, around 70-80%, while temperatures will remain near or slightly below normal. A high risk of rip currents at the beaches is in effect through the weekend, with lingering swells causing rough surf of around 5-8 feet and hazardous boating conditions. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through late Sunday night, with seas 8 to 12 feet, up to 15 feet occasionally offshore.
Near normal temperatures with highs in the low to mid 80s continue.
