MIAMI, FL — The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a forecast of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across South Florida today, Wednesday, September 03, 2025, with rain chances favoring the east coast metro and southern areas amid near-normal temperatures.

A few storms may become strong this afternoon, capable of producing gusty winds and heavy downpours. Excessive rainfall could lead to localized urban and poor drainage flooding. There is a Marginal Risk of Excessive Rainfall issued by the Weather Prediction Center.
