Showers and storms nearing the coast across portions of Southwest Florida this morning, continuing through today as activity becomes more widespread. Rain chances around 60% area-wide, with potential for localized flooding in heavier storms. The forecast covers areas such as Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Fort Myers.
