BAY, Florida – The National Service (NWS) Tampa Bay has issued a forecast for west and Southwest Florida on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, forecasting widespread showers and thunderstorms throughout the day with highs in the mid to upper 80s across the region. Abundant moisture will support numerous to widespread storms, with a marginal risk of excessive rainfall potentially leading to localized flooding. Rain chances are around 80% area-wide.
