JACKSONVILLE, Florida – The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a forecast for North Florida predicting strong thunderstorms on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
According to NWS Jacksonville, localized heavy rain and some strong storms are expected this afternoon and evening north of Waycross in southeast Georgia and along the I-95 corridor. The east coast sea breeze will focus areas of heavy rainfall and some strong storms near the I-95 corridor this mid-afternoon through mid-evening.
