MIAMI, Florida – NOAA’s National Hurricane Center in Miami, Florida, issued a Tropical Weather Outlook at 2 PM Eastern Daylight Time on Saturday, August 2, 2025, due to the presence of a system that may develop into a tropical cyclone near North Carolina.

The system (marked with a yellow shaded area) is an area of low pressure that is expected to form tonight or on Sunday along a frontal system off of the southeastern coast of the United States.
