No ticket matched all six numbers in the August 22, 2025, Mega Millions drawing, pushing the next jackpot for Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 11 p.m. ET, to an estimated $253 million with a cash option of $113.8 million. The enhanced Mega Millions format, introduced in April 2025, continues to offer larger jackpots and improved odds.
One ticket sold in North Carolina matched all five white balls with a 2X Megaplier, securing the second-tier prize of $2 million. No other second-tier winners had the 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X Megaplier.
Three tickets hit four white balls plus the Mega Ball, earning $10,000 each in the third-tier prize. One with a 2X Megaplier won $20,000, one with a 3X Megaplier won $30,000, and one with a 4X Megaplier won $40,000. None had the 5X or 10X Megaplier.
