TALLAHASSEE, Florida – A Cash4Life ticket sold in New Jersey won a prize in the Tuesday, August 19, 2025, drawing, according to the Florida Lottery.
The ticket matched all five numbers—4, 6, 8, 33, 35—and the Cash Ball, 2, winning $1,000 a week for life.
The drawing had no winners for the top prize of $1,000 a day for life. The New Jersey ticket won the second-tier prize of $1,000 a week for life, with an option for a $1 million lump sum.
Cash4Life is played in 10 states: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Drawings occur daily at 9:00 p.m. ET, with tickets costing $2. The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 21,846,048, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.
In the August 19 drawing, there were 11,808 total winners. Prize levels included: 0 winners of $1,000 a day for life; 1 winner of $1,000 a week for life; 0 winners of $2,500 (4-of-5 + Cash Ball); 4 winners of $500 (4-of-5); 63 winners of $100 (3-of-5 + Cash Ball); 229 winners of $25 (3-of-5); 1,122 winners of $10 (2-of-5 + Cash Ball); 3,858 winners of $4 (2-of-5); and 6,531 winners of a free ticket (1-of-5 + Cash Ball).
The location where the winning ticket was sold has not been disclosed. The winner has 180 days to claim the prize and can choose between weekly payments or the lump sum. New Jersey law allows lottery winners to remain anonymous.
