NEW YORK, New York – A Cash4Life ticket sold in New York won a prize in the Saturday, August 2, 2025, drawing, according to the Florida Lottery.
The winning numbers were 07, 13, 28, 52, 58, and the Cash Ball was 01.
The ticket matched all five numbers but not the Cash Ball, winning $1,000 a week for life.
The drawing had no winners for the top prize of $1,000 a day for life. The New York ticket won the second-tier prize of $1,000 a week for life, with an option for a $1 million lump sum.
In the August 2 drawing, there were 13,646 total winners. Prize levels included: 0 winners of $1,000 a day for life; 1 winners of $1,000 a week for life; 1 winner of $2,500 (4-of-5 + Cash Ball); 2 winners of $500 (4-of-5); 71 winners of $100 (3-of-5 + Cash Ball); 234 winners of $25 (3-of-5); 1,245 winners of $10 (2-of-5 + Cash Ball); 4,089 winners of $4 (2-of-5); and 8,004 winners of a free ticket (1-of-5 + Cash Ball).
Cash4Life is played in 10 states: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia. Drawings occur daily at 9:00 p.m. ET, with tickets costing $2.
The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 21,846,048, and the overall odds of winning any prize are 1 in 8.
The top prize, if won, offers a choice between $1,000 a day for life (guaranteed for a minimum of 20 years, amounting to $365,000 annually) or a one-time lump-sum payment of $7 million. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize. New York law allows lottery winners to remain anonymous.
