ORLANDO, Florida – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Weather Outlook for East Central Florida on Sunday, July 13, 2025, due to a marginal risk of severe weather this afternoon and early evening.
Scattered afternoon thunderstorms are expected to be most prominent across the eastern half of the Peninsula due to the presence of a developing tropical system off of Florida’s Gulf Coast.

According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, the timing of the strongest storms will occur from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 103. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tonight
Showers and thunderstorms likely before 2am, then a slight chance of showers between 2am and 5am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
