MIAMI, Florida – The National Weather Service (NWS) Miami has issued a forecast for potential strong thunderstorms across South Florida on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
According to the National Weather Service in Miami, the showers and thunderstorms will initially favor the east coast this morning before shifting westward to interior and west coast areas in the afternoon.
Stronger thunderstorms may produce:
Rain chances range from 66% to 76%, with the highest probabilities in Everglades City (76%) and the lowest in Naples and West Palmdale (66%):

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 1am and 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 81. Southeast wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
