Severe Thunderstorms, Large Hail For Tampa Bay, Southwest Florida

TAMPA BAY, FL – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe weather outlook for west central and southwest Florida, due to a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of strong to severe thunderstorms on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

According to the National Weather Service Tampa Bay, the potential hazards include gusty or damaging winds, large hail up to 1 inch, and lightning between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The forecast covers areas such as Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, and Fort Myers.
