, Florida – The National Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe weather outlook for , due to a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of strong to severe thunderstorms on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

According to NWS Jacksonville, strong to isolated severe thunderstorms will develop inland during the mid to late afternoon hours today.

Stronger storms along the I-75 corridor and inland southeast Georgia will be capable of producing:

  • Damaging winds capable of impacting structures and trees.
  • Frequent lightning strikes, which may be fatal to people and pets who remain outside.

North Florida cities at risk for severe thunderstorms include:
