PORT ST. LUCIE, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Fredrick Barthell, 58, of Port St. Lucie, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Saint Lucie County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.00.
Barthell purchased his winning ticket from a Publix supermarket located at 788 S.E. Becker Road in Port Saint Lucie.
Publix received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 Scratch-Off game offers more than $243.4 million in cash prizes, including over 10 top prizes of $2 million.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.49.
