BROWARD COUNTY, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Guillermo Rosero Perez, 37, of Weston, claimed the $10.75 million FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot from the March 8, 2025, drawing at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Broward County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $5,946,154.67.
Rosero Perez purchased his jackpot-winning FLORIDA LOTTO ticket from Pembroke Pines Chevron, located at 14602 Sheridan Street in Southwest Ranches.
The retailer received a bonus commission of $80,000 for selling the winning ticket.
The odds of winning the Florida Lotto jackpot are 1 in 22,957,480. The game’s overall odds are 1 in 7.61.
25% of all Florida Lottery proceeds goes to K-12 education and Bright Futures scholarships, according to the Florida Lottery.
67% goes to prize payouts. The remaining 8% goes to retailers, vending, and administration.
