NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vietti Food Group has issued a recall for 4,515 cases of its 15-ounce Yellowstone Brown Sugar Molasses Baked Beans due to undeclared soy, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on May 5, 2025.
The recall follows the discovery that the product may pose a risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions for individuals with soy allergies or severe sensitivities.
The affected baked beans, inspired by the television show Yellowstone, were distributed to retailers across 23 states, including Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia.
Consumers can identify the recalled product by checking for the Lot Code “Best if Used By Feb 17, 2028,” printed on the bottom of each can.
No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported as of May 5, 2025. Vietti Food Group is urging consumers who purchased the affected product to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
