, Florida – The National Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal risk (Level 1/5) severe outlook for due to the potential for severe thunderstorms expected to impact the region on Monday, May 5, 2025.

The National Weather Service in Miami forecasts scattered thunderstorms in South Florida this afternoon through early evening, with a marginal risk of severe storms in the Lake Okeechobee region and east coast metro areas from Miami northward to West Palm Beach, including and Boca Raton. An isolated cannot be ruled out, and lightning poses a significant risk, especially for outdoor events.
