, Florida – The National  Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe outlook for  due to the potential for severe thunderstorms that are expected to impact northeast Florida on Wednesday,  May 7, 2025.

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville  forecasts isolated strong to severe thunderstorms along the US-301 corridor to the beaches, with hazards including 40-60 mph wind gusts, pea to quarter-sized hail, and lightning.

The greatest chances of storms will be from 2 p.m. through late evening.
