TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center issued a severe weather outlook for the Florida Panhandle and Big Bend due to a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms over the eastern third of the region on Monday, May 12, 2025.
The National Weather Service in Tallahassee forecasts a few strong to severe thunderstorms. The main threats will be damaging wind gusts, hail, a tornado or two, and flash flooding this morning and afternoon.
