TALLAHASSEE, Florida – The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center issued a severe weather outlook for the Florida Panhandle due to a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of severe thunderstorms over the entire region on Sunday and Sunday night, May 11, 2025. The main threats will be damaging wind gusts, hail, a tornado or two, and flash flooding. An additional 2" to 6" of rain is possible in addition to the rain some areas picked up Friday into Friday night. Locally higher amounts of 10"+ remain possible as this storm system crawls through the Southeast over the next 3 days.
