MIAMI, Florida – A period of active weather kicked off across South Florida on Saturday, May 31, 2025, bringing showers and scattered strong to severe thunderstorms to the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Miami, the greatest likelihood of heavy showers and thunderstorms is expected north of Alligator Alley (I-75), where rain chances are as high as 72% in areas like Palmdale, Clewiston, and West Palm Beach.
