BROOKSVILLE, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Ruth Cain, 53, of Brooksville, claimed a $2 million top prize from the TRIPLE JACKPOT Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Hernando County woman chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,209,700.00.
Cain purchased her winning ticket from RaceTrac, located at 30480 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville.
RaceTrac received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
For $10, the TRIPLE JACKPOT Scratch-Off game offers more than $132 million in total cash prizes, including four top prizes of $2 million.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.49.
