MIRAMAR, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Benjamin Chiurliza, 63, of Davie, claimed a top prize of $5 million from the MONOPOLY SECRET VAULT Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Broward County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $2,884,920.00.
Chiurliza turned $20 into $5 million when he purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 14375 Miramar Parkway in Miramar.
Publix received a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $20 MONOPOLY SECRET VAULT Scratch-Off game launched in July 2024 and features four top prizes of $5 million.
The game’s overall odds are 1-in-2.95.
