, Florida – The Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe outlook for and Southern Georgia due to the potential for isolated thunderstorms that are expected to impact the region late this afternoon and through the evening hours, mainly north of I-10 on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

For Northeast Florida, the National Weather Service in Jacksonville advises residents to expect isolated storms capable of gusty winds and locally heavy rain are expected to develop later today north and west of Waycross, Georgia. Storms may develop as early as 5 PM and linger through midnight before fading.
