Miami, FL – April 18, 2025 – A tanker truck rollover on I-95 in Miami-Dade County closed all northbound lanes south of SR 112/I-195 and several ramps during Friday evening rush hour, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) reported.
The 7:45 PM incident blocked the eastbound SR 836 and westbound I-395 ramps to northbound I-95, with traffic diverted to westbound SR 836.
By 7:58 PM, the SR 836 eastbound ramp was closed, followed by the I-95 northbound ramp from NW 8 St at 8:26 PM.
Emergency crews and a Road Ranger responded, and FDOT urged drivers to follow Florida’s Move Over Law, use alternate routes like US-1, and check www.fl511.com for updates.
