WEST PALM BEACH, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Joan Gonzalez Tamarit, 26, of West Palm Beach, claimed a $2 million top prize from the SILVER STREAK Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
The Palm Beach County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,195,000.00.
Gonzalez turned $10 into $2 million when he purchased his winning ticket from a Publix supermarket located at 828 Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach.
The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 Scratch-Off game, SILVER STREAK, launched in September 2024 and features four top prizes of $2 million and 354 prizes of $10 thousand.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.44.
