The Hillsborough County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,280,000.00.
Roman purchased his winning ticket from a Sunoco Food Mart located at 1202 North Tamiami Trail in Ruskin.
The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
For $10, the $2,000,000 100X CASHWORD Scratch-Off game offers more than $220 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $2 million.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.37.
