TAMPA, Florida – The Florida Lottery announced that Vijay Gandhi, 61, of Tampa, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.

The Hillsborough County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.

Gandhi purchased his winning ticket from a 7-Eleven convenience store located at 6845 North 22nd Street in Tampa.

The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
