Florida AMBER Alert Canceled for 9-Year-Old Liam Smith

UPDATE: Liam Smith has been found safe.

Miami Gardens, FL – Authorities have issued an AMBER Alert for 9-year-old Liam Smith, who was last seen in the area of the 17700 block of Northwest 14th Avenue in Miami Gardens, Florida, on April 22, 2025.

Liam was wearing a light blue school uniform shirt, dark blue pants, and black shoes at the time of his disappearance.

Liam is described as a Black male, 4 feet tall, weighing 90 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a scab under his right eye.

Authorities believe he may have been abducted by Tameeka Budwah, a 45-year-old Black female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes. Budwah’s weight is unknown.

The pair may be traveling in a 2024 black Honda Civic with the Florida license plate RIV189 and could be heading northbound.
