MIAMI, Florida – A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and into the evening across South Florida on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
The chance of thunderstorms will increase on Sunday as a disturbance moves across South Florida. Some of the thunderstorms could become strong containing heavy downpours and gusty winds, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.
A High Rip Current Risk remains for Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward counties through the rest of weekend. This risk of rip currents remain elevated through the early portion of the week.
Highs will reach the lower 80s along the east coast to the upper 80s along the west coast

A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 80. Southeast wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
