ORLANDO, Florida — Showers and scattered lightning storms will develop across Central Florida this afternoon and evening on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Storms into this evening will be strong to isolated severe. The main storm threats will be strong wind gusts up to 45-55 mph, with a low chance of wind gusts to around 60 mph, frequent lightning strikes, small hail, locally heavy rainfall leading to minor flooding of roadways and poor drainage areas, as well as a very low chance for a brief tornado, according to the National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center.
A lower coverage of storms is forecast Monday afternoon but a few strong storms are again possible, containing gusty winds, hail, and heavy rainfall.
