MIAMI, Florida – A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 a.m. along the Atlantic coast of South Florida on St. Patrick’s Day, Monday, March 17, 2025, according to the National Weather Service in Miami
After the cold front passes this morning, a significantly drier air mass with filter in (dew points falling into the 30s and 40s plus RH values below 30%) and with wind gusts of 20-30 mph, this will bring an increased fire risk.
The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM EDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
Lows overnight will be in the 50s to low 60s, with northwest winds at 15-25 mph, gusting to 30 mph.
A High Rip Current Risk remains in effect for Miami-Dade County, Palm Beach County, and Broward County along the Atlantic Coast beaches.
A High Rip Current Risk is also in effect for the Gulf Coast beaches.
