Smoke From Wildfires, Rip Currents For South Florida

MIAMI, Florida – Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s across South Florida on Saturday, March 22, 2025, according to the National Weather Service in Miami. Mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the high 60s.
A High Rip Current Risk is in effect for the Palm Beaches with a moderate risk at the MiamiDade, Broward, and Collier beaches.
There is potential for patchy smoke and decrease in visibility in portions of far southern Miami-Dade and Mainland Monroe Counties due to actively burning wildfires.
The rip current risk will be elevated for all southeast Florida beaches into early next week.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy skies with a high near 76°F. Expect east winds of 7 to 11 mph. Overnight, conditions remain mostly cloudy with a low around 72°F and southeast winds near 10 mph.
Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 80°F and southeast winds around 10 mph. Clouds return Monday night, with a low around 72°F and winds slowing to 5-8 mph.
Tuesday: A 20% chance of showers after 2 p.m. under mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 80°F. Winds will be light and variable, shifting to east at around 6 mph. Tuesday night brings a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low near 72°F and a 20% chance of precipitation.
Wednesday: A slight chance of showers before 8 a.m., followed by a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and a 30% chance of showers after 2 p.m. The day will be partly sunny with a high near 80°F and north winds of 5-8 mph. Wednesday night offers a 30% chance of showers before 8 p.m., clearing to partly cloudy skies with a low around 70°F.
Thursday: Sunny skies return with a high near 79°F.
