Small Helicopter Crashes In Florida Backyard

CHULUOTA, Fla. — A small helicopter crashed in the backyard of a residence in Chuluota, Florida, approximately 5:43 p.m. at 1236 Galant Fox Way on Friday evening, March 28, 2025, according to the Seminole County Fire Department (SCFD).

The aircraft, a single-occupant helicopter, came to rest on its side in what authorities described as an unplanned landing.

Photos from the scene show the white helicopter tilted on a grassy area, with its rotor blades detached and scattered nearby. Despite the damage, the pilot was able to exit the aircraft on their own and reported no injuries to first responders. No structures were damaged during the incident, and no other individuals were harmed.

SCFD officials said that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has taken over the investigation to determine the cause of the crash
