The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a High Rip Current Risk that is in effect for Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward counties and an elevated risk for the Gulf Coast.
Elevated surf up to 6 feet at the beaches of Broward County and Palm Beach County today.
Highs will reach the low to mid 80s.
Thursday through Tuesday
The risk of rip currents will be elevated through most of this week along the Atlantic Coast beaches due to onshore flow. The threat of rip currents risk should increase along the Gulf beaches late this week with a passage of cold front.
Hazardous marine conditions expected to last through at least mid day Thursday.
Low RH values are expected Thursday and Friday which may lead to some fire weather concerns especially over interior portions of South Florida.
