Rip Currents, Thunderstorms For South Florida

MIAMI, Florida – A few thunderstorms are possible tonight on Sunday, March 16, 2025. as a cold front approaches South Florida, mainly across the eastern half of the region.

Frequent wind gusts up to 30 mph are possible today across coastal locations on the east coast of South Florida, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.

A High Rip Current Risk remains for Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward counties through early next week.

A high risk of rip currents could materialize along the Gulf beaches on Monday.
