KISSIMMEE, Florida- The Florida Lottery announced that David Martinez, 49, of Kissimmee, claimed a $1 million prize from the GOLD RUSH LEGACY Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office.
The Osceola County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.
Martinez turned $20 into $1 million when he purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 101 State Road 436 in Fern Park.
The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $20 Scratch-Off game, GOLD RUSH LEGACY, launched in April and features four top prizes of $10 million and 20 prizes of $1 million.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.97.
