VALRICO, Florida- The Florida Lottery announced that Roger Shackelford, 67, of Valrico, claimed a $1 million top prize from the MILLIONAIRE MAKER Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.
The Hillsborough County man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.00.
Shackelford bought his winning ticket from a Publix supermarket located at 3461 Lithia Pinecrest Road in Valrico.
The retailer received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $5 Scratch-Off game, MILLIONAIRE MAKER, launched in May and features six top prizes of $1 million.
The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.99.
